Iron Paw Challenge is the official rankings, results and records platform for canine athletics — a serious, transparent and consistent way to compare dogs across thirteen disciplines.
The idea
Strength, speed and grit deserve a fair scoreboard. Iron Paw Challenge measures each performance against a single, dynamic global standard — the Global Dynamic 100 — so a sprint in Helsinki is comparable to a sprint in Texas, and a 2024 record can still be read against today's best.
How it works
Four ideas drive everything: the Global Dynamic 100 sets the bar, the Event Score locks in what was achieved on the day, the Current Level shows how a performance reads today, and ELO ranks the dog as a competitor over time.
Built for trust
Approved events feed the system. Results are reviewed, scored, and never silently rewritten — once an event is approved, its scores are permanent. The Global 100 line may move as new records appear, but history stays history.
What we stand for
Every dog is measured against the same global line — not against the field on the day. A 92.5 in Helsinki means the same thing as a 92.5 in Texas.
The formulas are public. The Global 100 line is public. Every Event Score can be traced back to the result it came from.
Once an event is approved, its scores are locked. The record book grows — it doesn't get rewritten when a new dog rewrites the line.
Iron Paw Challenge is run as an independent rankings platform. No club, no breed and no country is privileged in the scoring.
